Huber Advisors Becomes Cloud Desktop Provider with DirectCloud
August 26, 2015
We are pleased to announce that Huber Advisors of St. Paul, MN has joined the DirectCloud partner family to offer our signature cloud desktop, WebTop. This partnership empowers Huber Advisors to enable customers to embrace the cloud and take advantage of the mobility and flexibility inherent in a virtual desktop.
Huber Advisors is well known around the country for delivering innovative managed services and reliable technology solutions that help companies reach key business goals and implement technology strategies. The new partnership with DirectCloud enables Huber Advisors to provide customers anytime access to their desktop, data, and programs from any device, anywhere. Huber Advisors is part of a national network of select business partners that have exclusive rights to sell and distribute DirectCloud’s WebTop.
“Our core business is business continuity planning, helping businesses manage and mitigate operational risk. Time and time again, we run into companies that focus on recovering their servers, but regularly overlook desktop recovery”, explains Tim Elemes, President of Huber Advisors. “With WebTop, not only can we offer a solution for recovering desktop services, our clients are able to access their desktop from any device, anywhere and anytime. It’s hard to beat that level of recoverability for your end users.”
WebTop replaces the on-site servers, software upgrades, and daily end point management traditional within small and medium-sized businesses with a streamlined, “thin” cloud desktop, moving businesses from a CAPEX to OPEX business model, while reducing the cost of both. Backed by an expert team of cloud engineers, migration to the cloud is efficient and easy. We call WebTop the “follow-me” desktop because it provides a continuous experience across devices and is customized to and by each individual user. With a few clicks from virtually any browser, users have access to contacts, calendars, email, files, applications, collaboration, news, communications, and more. Having all this data and communication readily available allows companies to be more agile and competitive in an increasingly technological world, ultimately providing a quick return on investment.
“We designed DirectCloud’s WebTop to bring advanced, affordable capabilities to small and mid-size enterprises for the first time,” said Harry W. Kaminsky, Executive Director of DirectCloud. “Partners like Huber Advisors are critical to helping us deliver our complete line of virtual server and desktop systems in a way that meets customers’ unique, evolving needs. Together, we expect to expand the market for WebTop and cloud services that have previously been out of reach for many businesses.”
DirectCloud has no direct sales force, relying solely on our network of business partners to bring WebTop’s affordable solution to companies of all sizes. The DirectCloud Business Partner is at the heart of our innovative approach to doing business that pairs “People, Process, and Technology” to create mutually-beneficial relationships. At the core of our business is our Business Partner Program, specifically designed to encourage partner success through a range of sales, marketing, and technical tools and training. The shared goal is to help both the customer and business partner elevate their organization to the next level.
